European Citizenship Advisory

Your European lineage, charted with care.

Karte Global helps American families research and pursue European citizenship and relocation pathways through descent, ancestry, and other heritage-based routes.

A passport you may never need to use is still worth holding. For this generation and the next.

Engagements

One path, charted in stages.

Your matter moves forward one defined stage at a time. Each stage has a clear deliverable, and you decide whether to continue at every step.

How It Works

From first call to filed application.

I.

We talk

A focused 30-minute call to understand your family history and what you want from a second citizenship, and to rule out any obvious non-starters before research begins.

II.

We plan

A researched review of which pathways appear open to you and, where one does, your roadmap to it: document requirements, realistic timelines, and an honest read on complexity and cost.

III.

We execute

Document gathering, translation, apostilles, and coordination through to your submission, then the relocation when you're ready.

About

Built from lived experience.

Karte Global is led by Justin Fuhrmann, a dual American and German citizen who obtained his German citizenship through descent. The work is personal before it is professional.

"I didn't set out to build a business. I started telling friends how I'd obtained my dual citizenship, and so many of them wanted to do the same but had no idea where to begin or felt overwhelmed by the process. This practice exists for anyone who finds themselves in that situation."

Justin holds a law degree (Juris Doctor) from Villanova University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Ithaca College. He has spent over a decade working at a professional services firm in Arlington, Virginia where he leads project teams that translate dense regulation into actionable guidance for clients. He is not acting as an attorney and does not provide legal services or legal advice through Karte Global, and no attorney-client relationship is created. His legal education and work experience inform his ability to navigate challenging citizenship-by-descent work.

He also serves as Vice Chair of the Arlington County Transportation Commission and President of the Columbia Forest Civic Association, navigating challenging bureaucratic environments. Put that experience to work on your matter.

A 30-minute screening is the fastest way to find out whether a full assessment is worth commissioning, and what it would need to research. Your $49 is credited in full against the Roadmap if you continue. From there, each stage is defined, quoted, and invoiced only once it is delivered.
